The Sequels
After the cult movie The Lost Boys, released in 1987, two sequels have been produced. In 2008, 21 years after the original "The Tribe" is released, featuring Kiefer Sutherland's half brother Angus. Then, two years later, in 2010, is released "The Thirst".
Note: In order to understand what happens in "The Tribe", you have to read the comics first. The comics are the junction between the original film and its first sequel.
Scroll down the page to get information about those two films. Hope you'll enjoy your reading. ;-)

The Tribe
The following is a "fanfiction-style" text. You are going to meet Edgar. If you are not interested in reading the little scene I wrote, you can just read the yellow lines and you will learn about the synopsis. This is up to you. ;-)

"Let's go kill vampires" Edgar announces.
Let's question him about the film and find out what he has to say about it...

Over there, in that caravan, lives someone who can tell you about the Lost Boys Sequel. Don’t fear the warning signs around the yard; they are not meant for you.
“My name is Edgar Frog, surfboard shaper and vampire hunter,” Edgar barks, opening the door before you even got a chance to knock.
“If you wanna know about the sequel, you’re at the right place, man.”
“Drink this,” he orders, handing you a glass filled with a suspicious semi-liquid substance.
Before you can question about the content of this glass, Edgar already answers: “Frog Juice! Garlic, holy water and raw egg!”
Your wrinkled nose and disgusted grimace covering your face is not enough to stop Edgar from inspecting you over. You won’t get any info about the sequel until he makes sure you’re not a suck monkey.
“Do it,” he says firmly, pushing the glass against your chest, causing some liquid to spill on your T-shirt. It leaves unidentified yellow stains on the red fabric.
As you have no choice, you simply drink, wrinkling your nose as the liquid goes down your throat.
“Good,” Edgar approves, a satisfied grin on his face, snatching the glass from you hands.
“Now, touch this,” He says again, “touch the crucifix and swear on the holy bible that you are no vampire, no Nosferatu.”
“This guy is nuts,” you must think, but you do as he says. All what you want is to get information about the sequel.
Edgar stares at you, satisfied. One last look around the place and he steps back to let you in.
“Is it a so good idea to enter the nest of the prince of nuts?” you wonder. But you have gone too far to give up now, haven’t you?
Cautiously you climb the two stairs that lead you into the sanctuary of a vampire hunter. A quick surrounding glance confirms that you are either at the right place or at some nut guy's place who recently escaped from a mental care hospital.
“Vampires everywhere!” He proclaims, shaking a wood stake right in front of you. Instinctively, you step back as Edgar moves over to you until you find yourself caught between the wall and the stake.
“I’d… better sit for a moment. Something tells me that your story’s not short,” you pointedly say. Edgar steps back while you hurry over to the couch.
“Suck Monkeys, that’s what they are,” he continues, still waving the stake through the air. Edgar turns around and puts some distance between both of you. You silently sigh in relief.
“What happened?” you finally dare to ask when Edgar seems to calm down. Not that you were scared of him (per say); but it was impossible to stop his monologue. He sits away from you and you like it that way.
“My brother Alan and I thought we had killed them all; but, there were still some more, somewhere.” Edgar digs his fist into the soft couch with rage and you jump in surprise.
“Chris Emerson and his younger sister, Nicole, moved to the city of Luna Bay to live with their Aunt Jillian after their parents’ death.”
“Who were they?” you ask.
Edgar is happy to see that he has already caught your attention but doesn’t appreciate your interruption.
“Dunno, man. Some say that they were Michael and Sam’s cousins and some others say that they were Michael and Star’s kids.” Edgar turns his face to you, “is it important?”
“No,” you answer religiously. Edgar then continues:
“Soon, Nicole falls for the leader of the local surfer gang, Shane Powers. Can you believe this? Surfing vampires?” Edgar shakes his head in disbelief.
“As you certainly guess, Shane is a vampire, and so is his gang, "The Tribe". That is why Chris had to save and protect his sister. After Nicole drank the ‘wine’ Shane gave her the other night, Chris has to destroy the gang before his sister's transformation was complete.”
Edgar clears his throat.
“And who do you think was the best to help Chris save his sister?” He asks, standing up all at once.
“Me! Edgar Frog, surf board shaper and vampire hunter. I’m a fighter for Truth, Justice, and the American Way.” Edgar says, flattering his own ego.
But you don’t care what Edgar is fighting for; you want to know what happened. But before you can question again, Edgar continues his speech:
“You wonder what happened next, don’t ya?”
You agree with a nod.
“Chris has to infiltrate the suck monkey gang in order to kill the head vampire before his sister made her first kill. He drank Shane's blood at a campfire with some local girls. Chris and I, Edgar, went to The Tribe's place to get rid of those suck monkeys...And do you think Chris and I were strong enough to do it?”
Edgar comes closer, leaning forward to whisper in your ear, “Do you really think I will tell you how the movie ends?” He then leans back with a satisfied smirk.
Edgar gives you the stake, roughly dropping it into your hand, and shows you the way out. The last words you hear from that crazy military-style dressed guy are “You’d better get yourself a garlic T-shirt, buddy, or it's your funeral.”

Alternate endings:
1. Sam Emerson (who isn't a vampire) and his friend, Edgar Frog, walk along the sea shore. Sam informs Edgar that his brother, Alan, (who is a vampire) is coming to town. Sam also states that Edgar will need all the help he can get.
2. The second alternate ending is almost the same as the first one; there are little differences, though. Sam wears a long coat and has sun glasses. He shows Edgar the bite marks he has on his neck right after he tells him that Alan is coming to town. The scene ends with a shot of Alan driving a "sun-protected" car with a girl. Alan laughs at the idea of getting revenge.

The Thirst
At the moment, I haven't had the opportunity to write my fanfictionized-text yet. So there's just information about the film. Later, I'll change this to fit the other pages of my site. Thanks for your understanding.

Synopsys:
The thankless life of a vampire hunter has taken its toll on Edgar Frog. After losing his best friend and fellow vamp fighter, Sam, he has started to let himself slide. He's down to selling his prized comic book collection just to pay rent on a decrepit trailer when stunning vampire novelist Gwen approaches with an offer. She needs him to find her brother who has gone missing after getting sucked into a series of underground raves, called The Gathering, held by an enigmatic spinner named DJ Dusk.
In a last, frantic message he mentioned being given a new party drug known as The Thirst, which turned out to be a mixture of ecstasy and vampire blood. Gwen shows Edgar a vile of the The Thirst, explaining DJ Dusk must be a head vampire and he's using his parties to raise an undead army. With the last rave, The Final Gathering, only days away Edgar must assemble a vamp-hunting team worthy of crashing the party, and hopes to include his reclusive brother who's dealing with his own dark past. Before the battle is over Edgar will discover there is a greater evil at work and must face his most haunting fear.
