Alyster Dark's Lost Corner

~ A Lost Boys Fan Site ~

The following is a "fanfiction-style" text. You are going to meet David. If you are not interested in reading the little scene I wrote, you can just read the white lines and you will learn about the synopsis. This is up to you. ;-)

The Lost Boys

Let's get inside and have a look at the film. David is your host tonight and he has some evil plans. Do you think it's the perfect moment to question him about the synopsis? Well, if you insist! But before I, Alyster, let you step inside, I’d give you a precious advice: be on your guard, that’s all I can say. Slowly entering the cave, let's see what David's doing... Obviously he's chewing something. Is it rice or maggots, noodles or worms? Tell me, do you really want to know?

David is sitting in his armchair with that bright spotlight on him. He’s eating Chinese take out food. His spiked blond hair looks whiter under the light.

“Guests first,” he says, handing you his box of rice.

“What? You don’t like rice?” He continues as you stay unresponsive.

“Oh, I see, you want to hear about the film? Okay!” He says.

In one move, David stands up and gives his box to Marko. He walks around the fountain to reach you, his hands behind his back. His moves are slow. His boots resound with the acoustic of the cave and it makes him more impressive. His long black coat rubs his pants with each of his steps and you can hear the soft noise of the fabric. It’s hypnotic. He looks at you and you’re locked to his icy blue eyes.

As he comes close to you, you step back a little and it makes him smile. His eyes never leave yours. He comes closer again and cups your face with his gloved hand. It gives you shivers but you like it, don’t you? David smirks; he enjoys the power he can have on mortals.  He loves to see what he’s seeing in your eyes right now, a mix of curiosity and fear, fascination and antipathy… He turns around, breaking the contact, and opens his arms wide to include the whole lobby.

“So what happened here? Marko?”

Marko comes to David with the jewelled bottle in silence. David uncorks it and drinks. He turns back to you.

“Want some?” He smiles, “Of course, you don’t!” He takes another mouthful of liquid.

“Let me tell you what happened here!” He pauses. His slow talking is as hypnotic as his moves.

A newly divorced mother, Lucy, and her two teenage sons, Michael and Sam, moved from Phoenix to Santa Carla to live with Lucy’s ‘adorable’ father. I hate that guy,” he commented.

But things really started when Lucy got that job at the video store on the pier. She got involved in a relationship with the shop-owner, Max. Her older son Michael was leering after Star and she lured him to me, good girl!” David drinks some more from the bottle, pauses a moment, enjoying the taste of the liquid and then continues:

“I challenged Michael one night and he followed us to our secret place at the sea shore.” David smiles viciously. “I knew he couldn’t beat me, I just wanted to know how far he was willing to go.”

David always knows exactly what he is doing and how much risk is involved. He comes to you and looks deeper in your eyes. His evil smile means a lot.

Michael drank my blood that night. He became a member of my vampire biker gang but I did not know that Sam, his little brother, hanged out with the comic-store owners, those damned Frogs! They thought they were fighters for Truth, Justice, and The American Way. ”

David makes another slow turn around the fountain and gets back to his armchair.

“I wonder who told those vampire hunters about our activity in Santa Carla.” He says, sitting down, his voice full of mock seriousness.

“Did you tell them?” David asks you.

“Of course not!” He sighs. The leader or the lost boys grins and takes another box of food from Dwayne’s hands.

“We have no rules!” David answers the question you’ve never asked. “We sleep all day, party all night, we will never grow old and we will never die!”

“Why don’t you try some noodles?” He proposes again.

He plays with the chop sticks in that box nervously; he’s probably frustrated because you refuse to play with him.

Well, that’s all you need to know. If you want more details, just watch the DVD!” He says.

David takes some noodles with the chop sticks and drops them in his mouth, pushing them inside with his tongue. He locks his eyes on you, once more, smirking.

“This conversation is over now, get out!” David orders.

And if you want my honest opinion, you really should go now before he changes his mind and decides to feast on you. So I suggest you visit another page of my website.
