Author's note
This is written for a Mary Sue Challenge and it isn't easy LOL. As far as I am concerned, I have always tried not to write Mary Sues (and hope I didn't), so I find it a bit hard to suddenly do it. LOL

Chapter 1
Queenetta Raegan reached the Santa Carla beach boardwalk in less than four hours and parked her car away from the parking lot. Usually, it was smarter to stay at crowded places but it was not what she wanted. If she wanted to face the danger and look straight in its eyes, she wouldn’t act differently. Was she completely stupid or did she perfectly know what she wanted?
She passed the Merry-go-round, glancing around, checking the faces around her, and clearly looking for someone. A while later, she entered the comic store only to see herself facing two army style dressed guys who looked completely out of space. Not finding what she wanted, Queenetta Raegan got out as fast as she got in.
Inside the store, Alan and Edgar exchanged glances, nodding.
“You know what that means?” Edgar asked.
“Yeah!”
“A new chick in town means a new fragile prey for the bloodsuckers!” Edgar continued.
“Or maybe she’s one of them,” Alan supposed.
“Must check this as soon as possible.”
Once again, both Frogs nodded in agreement.
Outside, Queenetta Raegan started a light jog towards the beach. She couldn’t wait any longer. She had to do it, and she had to do it tonight.
She stopped suddenly, noticing the motorbikes parked up the stairs, she smiled. It was exactly as she remembered.
“God, were the engines immortal too?” she wondered.
She walked closer and smiled as she passed a hand on David’s bike. She knew it was his. Once again, Queenetta Raegan looked around her only to see a human crowd of tourists. It didn’t matter how long she’d have to wait; she had found them; that was the important.

“Dude, someone’s touching our bikes,” Paul remarked, elbowing Dwayne;
“Always better when dinner comes to us,” Dwayne commented.
“She’s cute,” Marko added as to say something.
Paul watched her with admiration, his mouth half open. He retained a whistle in his throat. She was so attractive and so beautiful with her long dark hair, her brown eyes, her pale skin, her tight hipsters and her thin silhouette. Sure Paul hasn’t seen such a beauty in ages. She looked like a dark angel.
She pushed her hair behind her shoulder in a slow move that made look even sexier.
“I saw her first,” Paul claimed.
“Close your mouth, dude, you barf on your vest!” Dwayne mocked, laughing.
The boys reached their bikes first, David staying a couple of steps behind.
“Hello Young beauty, may I help you?” Paul proposed as politely as he could. Dwayne and Marko laughed at Paul’s sudden excellent elocution. But Queenetta Raegan ignored them, totally focused on David.
Paul followed her glance to his leader and sighed.
“Why is always David the one who gets the girls’ favours?” Paul asked.
“Because you’re a dumbass, man,” Marko teased. Paul replied with his elbow in Marko’s stomach.
As David stayed away, Queenetta Raegan walked over to him and stared at his icy blue eyes, unafraid.
“Make me!” She told him.
David raised a brow, amused. This wasn’t the first time he was confronted to such situation. Sometimes, people came to notice the boys’ activities and, instead of being afraid, they wanted to be turned. Those who were afraid either left the town or thought they had had a nightmare. Anyway, he wouldn’t admit that this one was a bit different; he found her very attractive too.
“I know what you are. Make me. I want to be your Childe, Sire!”
“Lemme guess,” David replied coldly. “Your parents died in a tragic car accident and you moved to this place for a brand new start. You’ve heard about some urban legend in Santa Carla and you think you might get here the most exciting moments of your miserable life.” He paused. “Isn’t it?”
“Or maybe you’re a runaway. But I doubt it.” He said, looking at her up and down.
David smirked and cupped her face with his gloved hand as he leaned over to her.
“I doubt you know what you are talking about, young girl!” He whispered in her ear before pushing her out of his way to reach his bike.
The four boys roared the engines, Paul, Dwayne and Marko laughing in background. They heard what the girl said and finally find it very funny that she was after David. But David stayed serious.
David gave her a last glance. A vicious smile graced his lips but it quickly turned into a grin when Queenetta Raegan pulled up something from under her tight top. At the end of the necklace were hanging a pair of vampire fangs.
“I think you don’t get it, David!” She said, fearless. How the hell did she know his name?
“Those were my father’s before he died,” she continued, “I am promised to you!”
Her last words were covered by the loud noises of the motorcycles as the boys left. Anyway, David perfectly caught what she told him.
